Homepage of the Rochester, NY DEF CON Group

The DCG585 started in 2003. It was formed by userdefined, with the help of a few friends. It ran successfully as an independant organization until 2010, when it migrated to the Rochester Hacker Space - Interlock, and began collaborating with the Rochester 2600 group and TOOOL.ROC.
It quickly became apparent that the same people going to ROC2600 and TOOOL were the ones that had been going to the DEF CON Group meetings.

To streamline the meetings for members, the public side of DCG585 meets on the first Friday of each month, with the Rochester 2600 group. We meet at 7 PM, at the Rochester hackerspace: Interlock.

Mobile security, lock picking, network and application security. We're also pretty heavy into "radio things".

userdefined is the PoC for the group.
